Candidate

I am a senior student and my graduation date has changed. What happens next?

Category: NAVLE - Eligibility & Applying / Approval

If you are enrolled in an AVMA Council on Education (COE) accredited veterinary program and your anticipated graduation date changes after you have applied for the NAVLE, your veterinary school must notify the ICVA directly of your new anticipated graduation date so that your eligibility and available options can be reviewed. Please note that NAVLE fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. To ensure fairness for all candidates and adherence to application deadlines, refunds, fee transfers, extensions, and testing window changes cannot be accommodated. If your application is not approved, you are determined to be ineligible after initial approval, or you do not take the examination during your approved testing window, you must submit a new application and pay the full fee for a future administration. Please note, if you do not test during a specific testing window, it is not counted as one of the five NAVLE attempts for the purposes of the NAVLE retake policy.
