NAVLE candidates applying through the above licensing boards will be approved directly by the ICVA office, not by the individual boards, and must submit their NAVLE State application and supporting documentation directly to the ICVA, by the application receipt deadline (August 1 for the November-December NAVLE and February 1 for the April NAVLE).
The candidate must contact their educational program (e.g., ECFVG, PAVE, or AVMA-accredited school) and ask that their supporting documentation be emailed to eligibility@icva.net so that it is received by the ICVA by the application deadline.
If you are applying through one of the above jurisdictions and you have a documented disability for which you will require test accommodations, you should download and review the test accommodation guidelines before you submit your application.
If you intend to submit your state NAVLE application on-line, you must FIRST submit the ICVA NAVLE application. DO NOT PROCEED WITH THE NAVLE STATE APPLICATION UNTIL YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE ICVA NAVLE APPLICATION. You can access ICVA NAVLE Application here.
After submitting your ICVA NAVLE application on-line, you will be directed immediately into your on-line NAVLE State application.
The ICVA offers NAVLE candidates applying through the boards listed above the option of applying on-line and paying the $55.00 state NAVLE application fee by credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Additional processing fees apply to those applying through the following states: Iowa
State NAVLE application fees are non-refundable.
If you have already submitted your ICVA NAVLE application, but not your NAVLE state application, you can access state on-line NAVLE applications below by clicking on your chosen board's link.
