Wisconsin State Laws and Rules Examination

 

 

The Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board has asked the ICVA to handle the administration of the Wisconsin Rules and Laws Examination for veterinary licensure.  Under rule VE 3.02 (4), an applicant must successfully complete “an examination on state laws and rules related to the practice of veterinary medicine” as one of the qualifications for a license to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin.


Examinees not currently licensed in another jurisdiction, planning to take the Wisconsin Rules and Laws Examination should contact the ICVA at JBlasewitz@ICVA.net

Examinees currently licensed who are seeking licensure in the state of Wisconsin should contact the Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board to be approved for the exam.  Please e-mail them or call their office at 608.224.4353 for more information.

If you have been approved by the Wisconsin Board and need to register and pay to take the Wisconsin Rules and Laws Examination, please follow the individualized instructions sent to you via e-mail from the ICVA.  Please check your SPAM or Junk folder for the important email.

If you have registered and paid for the examination, you will receive an email with instructions to begin your Wisconsin Rules and Laws Examination.

Once you have been notified of your eligibility, please click here.

You will have 30 days from the start of your eligibility to complete this examination.  You may log in and out during this time.  Once you have completed your exam, your score is immediatley available and your score will be sent to the Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board.
