Wisconsin State Laws and Rules Examination

The Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board has asked the ICVA to handle the administration of the Wisconsin Rules and Laws Examination for veterinary licensure.  Under rule VE 3.02 (4), an applicant must successfully complete “an examination on state laws and rules related to the practice of veterinary medicine” as one of the qualifications for a license to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin.

Examinees not currently licensed in another jurisdiction, planning to take the Wisconsin Rules and Laws Examination should contact the ICVA at JBlasewitz@ICVA.net

Examinees currently licensed who are seeking licensure in the state of Wisconsin should contact the Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board to be approved for the exam.  Please e-mail them at datcpveb@wisconsin.gov or call their office at 608.224.4353 for more information.

If you have been approved by the Wisconsin Board and need to register and pay to take the Wisconsin Rules and Laws Examination, please follow the individualized instructions sent to you via e-mail by the ICVA.  Please check your SPAM or Junk folder for the important email.

If you have registered and paid for the examination, you will receive an email with instructions to begin your Wisconsin Rules and Laws Examination.
