All prospective NAVLE candidates should review the NAVLE Candidate Handbook to familiarize themselves with NAVLE policies and procedures, understand the application process, learn how to prepare for the NAVLE, know what to expect on exam day, and understand the next steps after the test.

Important Reminders:

To ensure fairness and adhere to strict deadlines, refunds, fee transfers, or extensions of the application or testing window are not permitted. The ICVA urges candidates to carefully review the details to confirm their eligibility and avoid violating the Ethical Behavior Investigation and Appeal Policy. It is important to note:

• Candidates enrolled in a school accredited by the AVMA COE may take the NAVLE up to two (2) times prior to graduation.
• In Canada and most U.S. states, if you have not graduated from veterinary school at the time of application, you must have an expected graduation date within 10 months of graduation from the last date of the applicable testing window.
